Grafic design studies at the Kunstschule Alsterdamm (Alsterdamm school of art) years.Worked as a specialist at the cutting edge of type digitisation at URW Software & Type, in co-ordination with clients such as the International Typeface Corporation in New York, Berthold und Linotype.
Lecturer in graphic design and digital media at the Academy of Electronic Publishing, as well as examiner for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. 2003 established Ruehl Design.
